End of support policy
Please refer to section 3 for the current status of your nami device and the nami mobile application.
For purposes of this End of Support policy, “nami device” shall mean a nami product (either nami or third party branded that connects to the nami platform) with a two-way communication between the nami product and the nami platform (either with a nami mobile application or with a nami mobile application and the nami cloud).
To the extent that the terms and conditions of this End of Support policy conflict with the limited warranty applicable to a nami device, the terms of this End of Support policy shall prevail.
From time to time, we may update this End of Support policy. If we do, we will publish the updated policy on our nami website.
End of support policy (nami devices)
Important notice on software updates, online services and compatibility
nami devices can receive software updates directly from nami when connected with Internet access and used with the official nami mobile application.¹
nami intends to provide your nami device with major platform feature software updates, if any, for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of your purchase from an authorized reseller (except in cases where the hardware is not compatible).
In addition, nami intends to continue to support your nami device with required security, quality and interoperability updates as well as to maintain
compatibility with our online services and the latest version of our nami mobile application for a minimum total of three (3) years from the date of your purchase from an authorized reseller.
After this date, nami may choose to continue to provide software updates and/or compatibility with online services and/or our nami mobile applications for your nami device at its discretion. Should software updates and/or compatibility with online services and/or our nami mobile applications however be terminated, we recommend you upgrade to a new version of the product.
¹ Products installed via a Matter commissioner will also be able to receive updates.

Important notice on updates and publication
In this End of Support policy:
Major Version Update Major Version Update means a version update that contains significant changes to the mobile application that impact the overall design, functionality or technical architecture of the application. A major version update will be indicated by an increase of the version number to the left of the first decimal point in the version number (eg. 1.y.z -> 2.y.z)
Minor Version Update Minor Version Update means a version update that contains smaller or incremental changes to the functionality of the mobile application and might include bug fixes or security improvements. A minor version update will be indicated by an increase of the version number to the right of the first decimal point in the version number (eg. x.14.z -> x.15.z)
Hotfix Update Hotfix Update means an update that contains no functional changes but might contain important bugfixes or security improvements. A hotfix version update will be indicated by an increase of the version number after the last decimal point (eg. x.y.235 -> x.y.236)
nami intends to continue to support the nami mobile applications with Minor Version Updates and Hotfix Updates for a minimum total of three (3) years from the first release of the last Major Version Update.
nami intends to continue to support a version of an mobile application with Minor Version Updates and Hotfix Updates and not retire such nami mobile application for a minimum total of one (1) year from launching a further Major Version Update of such nami mobile application. Updates for retired mobile applications will be discontinued and the mobile applications will no longer be available.
